VeloTrack ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by VeloTech LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the VeloTrack mobile app and website (collectively, the "Service").

Account Information
- Name and email address when you create an account
- Role — Coach, Athlete, Trainer, or Individual
- Organization and team name
Athletic Performance Data
- Body weight
- One-rep max estimates for squat, bench, deadlift, and power clean
- Barbell velocity measurements (peak velocity, mean velocity) recorded during workouts
- Workout history including exercises, sets, reps, and weight used
- Assigned workout completion status
Camera and Video
- The app accesses your device camera to measure barbell velocity using computer vision
- Video is processed locally on your device in real time
- No video is stored, uploaded, or transmitted to our servers
Device Information
- Device type and operating system version
- App version
- Basic usage analytics to improve performance
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To provide velocity-based training tracking features
- To allow coaches to assign and monitor athlete workouts
- To display performance data and trends
- To send invite emails and notifications related to your account
- To improve the VeloTrack app and services
- To process subscription payments through Stripe
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- Within your organization — Coaches can see their athletes' workout data and performance metrics. Athletes can see workouts assigned to them.
- Service providers — We use Supabase for database hosting, Resend for transactional email, and Stripe for payment processing. These providers have their own privacy policies.
- Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We implement row-level security policies to ensure users can only access data they are authorized to view.
Camera video used for velocity tracking is processed entirely on your device and is never stored or transmitted.
5. Children's Privacy
VeloTrack is not intended for children under 13. Athlete accounts for minors must be created and managed by a coach or authorized adult. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.

6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export your performance data

7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal information and performance data are permanently deleted within 30 days. Some data may be retained longer if required by law.
